Group Music Classes

 

Lorrie Tomlinson…born and raised in Point Pleasant Beach is back in the sweet saddle of teaching children’s music classes at Ocean County Music.

At the age ripe age of 2, Lorrie was playing air guitar through the house, playing beats on pots, and singing her heart out to music through movies like Grease and Saturday Night Fever. She joined her first cover band in high school as the lead singer/guitar player playing auditoriums, dances and parties. She began writing original songs and recorded a 12-song original CD, entitled “A Day in the Sun.” She was nominated for best Singer/Songwriter at the Asbury Park Music Awards, directed children’s choirs, worked with youth groups and performed at the Clearwater Music Festival on Sandy Hook, the United Nations and in many clubs and venues along the Jersey Shore.
